'Ocean of Grass: Life on a Nebraska Sandhills Ranch'

Ocean of Grass: Life on a Nebraska Sandhills Ranch examines life on a 130-year-old Custer County ranch operation during a 22-month timeframe. Entirely Nebraska-made, the work presents an authentic, artistic and emotional journey of the McGinn family ranching ethos. The film screening will be followed by a question-and-answer session with creator and media specialist Georg Joutras. Joutras, who wrote, directed, and produced "Ocean of Grass," stated, "I am not necessarily telling a story, I am telling a feeling." His film presents a unique vision of the land, "everything important in life all rolled up into the ranch."

This event is open to the public at no cost. Free will donations are encouraged and will benefit the Red Cloud Community Foundation Fund.
