After the death of her father, Alexandra Bergson takes over her family's farm in the small town of Hanover, Nebraska. As she struggles to make ends meet, she is also forced to deal with the advances of Carl, a man who is after her affections, and the dealings of Emil, her brother, a dreamer who can't seem to keep his feet on the ground. Oh/Pioneers is a play about how hard we try: and how the ​land itself will always win.
