A beautiful butterfly milkweed blooms brightest in the middle of the summer, and helps to create the famous
colors of our mixed-grass loess prairie. Because it is a warm grass plant, you'll see it thriving in June.

Natural springs are full and even overflowing after the abundant rains of the
2007 summer.
