Alek Sauceda

Alek moved to Red Cloud in 2017 from his hometown of Kaufman, Texas. Before moving to Nebraska, he worked as estimator and project manager for a landscaping and artificial turf company and before joining the Willa Cather Foundation, he worked at Allo Fiber as a field operations supervisor. As facilities and preservation specialist, Alek works as part of the Collections team to ensure efficient maintenance and repair of properties, overseeing the work of independent contractors and vendors, and assisting in planning and prioritizing regular maintenance and capital improvements.

In his free time he enjoys hanging out with his family, and fishing and golfing with his 5 year old son, Matthew (Mateo to everyone who knows him).
