Josh Reckling

Josh Reckling joined the team in March, 2023, as our collections associate, a new position at the National Willa Cather Center. In this role, Josh works with collections care in several historic house museum properties, as well as exhibit and archives work. 

In the past few years he had an internship at the Museum of American Speed in Lincoln, Nebraska and was an archival assistant while attending the University of Nebraska at Kearney, where he received his bachelor of science in history in 2021. A numismatist, Josh enjoys collecting coins and is interested in the Second World War and American Civil War. Josh grew up in Crete, Nebraska and is the youngest of two children, with a brother a year older. He recently relocated to Red Cloud.
