Pam Livingston

Pam joined the team as a tour guide in 2022 after moving to Red Cloud in 2021. She was born in the Hudson Valley region of New York and has lived in many places on four continents, including Cherry Valley, New York where she first became acquainted with the works of Willa Cather.

Pam has worked as an editorial clerk, sign and mural painter, and a gallery manager, and describes herself as a poet, artist, musician, and explorer of lesser known things; she has also published a book of poetry.

With an adult son and daughter out in the world, Pam is grateful to now be living in Red Cloud. "I feel I am learning about the pioneer spirit, and through Willa Cather's art, becoming a bit more human, more bold and inspired," Pam said. "I'm thankful that visitors can come and connect and feel renewed in some mysterious way...and that I have a little part to play at the National Willa Cather Center.”
