Cather Book Club: In This Our Life

On March 16 the Willa Cather Book Club will meet to discuss In This Our Life by Ellen Glasgow. Awarded Pulitzer for the Novel in 1942, In This Our Life chronicles decaying Southern society and the wrongs done to an African-American boy. Cather’s Sapphira and the Slave Girl, which is the Cather family’s own antebellum story of race in the South, was published in 1940. There are two meeting times available; 4:00 p.m. at Cherry Corner Estates and 6:30 at the Cather Second Home.
