Clark & Company will make its Red Cloud, Neb., debut Saturday, April 29, touring in support of their newest album, Josephine Had A Dream, an original song collection with mature melodies, fresh arrangements and a stirring signature style.

Clark & Company was created by 20-year-old triplets from Omaha—with Sophie Clark on keys and vocals, Cooper Clark on acoustic and electric bass, Simon Clark on drums and percussion and Cameron Thelander on tenor saxophone. They garnered their second Omaha Entertainment & Arts Awards (OEAA) nomination in 2016 and were named a finalist in the International Acoustic Music Awards in 2017.

Clark & Company’s song “New Orleans,” off the band’s 2015 EP, was recently named a finalist in the 2016 USA Songwriting Competition, in the R&B category. “Battlecry,” off the band’s first album, and “To Rule the World,” off its second, were finalists in the 10th & 11th International Acoustic Music Awards, in the Best Group / Duo and Open categories, respectively.

Grammy Nominated Musician, Composer and Producer Tom Ware of Warehouse Studios produced the new album.

“One of the coolest aspects about Clark & Company is that they are actually playing their instruments—what you’re hearing on the record is them playing live,” Ware said. “It’s refreshing these days to not have to rely on technology. They have a real organic representation of music.”  Ware was also surprised by how many songs the young band has recorded: 42 to date. “Sophie’s lyrics are very sophisticated. She’s quite prolific,” he said.
