We are delighted to welcome composer and pianist Philip Daniel to the Red Cloud Opera House for a night of beautiful music and Willa Cather's most enduring literature. Join us for what promises to be a memorable concert including original compositions inspired by My Ántonia as well as music Daniel has written during his travels across the globe.

Philip Daniel
Originating from Lincoln, Nebraska, Philip Daniel is a distinguished pianist and composer, acclaimed for his ability to evoke powerful emotions thru his music. He holds a Masters degree in Piano Performance from the UMKC Conservatory and a Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from Hastings College.
He has cultivated a musical voice that gracefully merges classical elements, cinematic qualities and minimalist characteristics. Daniel’s compositions resonate with both seasoned musicians and casual listeners. In addition to his solo projects, he also writes music for dance. He has worked with notable companies such as Jacob Jonas, Whim Whim, Salt Dance, and most recently the Kansas City Ballet Company to name a few.
