It has been a busy year for Lucas Hoge, he was named by Rolling Stone as a new Country Artist to watch, he had a song go to #1 on the CMT 12 Pack for an unprecedented 7 week, his album debuted on Billboard at #1 for Country Album Sales and at #5 for Country Album, and he made his Grand Old Opry debut in November. It’s been a long journey to the Opry stage beginning in Hubbell, Nebraska, a small town of only 44 people about an hour east of Red Cloud.

Hoge has many credits to is name including working with Warner Bros. to feature his song “If I Only Could” on the hit TV show “Smallville.”  He scored a 13-episode series for HBO, wrote a jingle for Lipton Tea and appeared with Faith Hill in the TV campaign for Sunday Night Football.   He wrote the title song and starred in the Animal Planet TV show “Last Chance Highway,” a reality show focused on rescuing dogs and transporting them to their forever homes. He also penned the theme song “Give a Damn” for the GAC TV show “Tom’s Wild Life.”   Most recently, Hoge wrote the theme song for Hero Brand and is appearing in their commercial ad campaign airing nationwide now.

However, appreciative of the chance to place his songs in numerous TV shows, recording his own albums and touring continues to be Hoge’s primary focus. He made his Ryman Auditorium debut opening for the legendary George Jones, and he’s shared the stage with familiar artists including Rascal Flatts, Rodney Atkins, Craig Morgan, Hank Williams Jr. and others.

His passion is for live entertainment and loves performing and telling stories. “I want people to feel like they are sitting in my living room watching us play and that they are a part of the show. I want the audience to feel like I’m talking straight to them.” He says.
