Virtual Author Series: Dr. Guy Reynolds

Opera House

Tune in for what is sure to be an engrossing talk with Dr. Guy Reynolds, professor of English at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. His new book, Sensing Willa Cather: The Writer and the Body in Transition, offers Cather readers and scholars fresh perspectives on her work through the critical lens of Body Studies. The book presents new understandings of Cather's depictions of disability, male bodies and Native American culture, narratives of whiteness and the black body, and the sensory worlds of Cather's fiction. Dr. Reynolds will give a reading from his book with a live Q&A session to follow. Register for the event here.
