Mahenwahdose is a Native American performance company comprised of talented artists, dedicated to bringing to life accurate, educational, and traditional stories of Native America. Troupe leader Will Hill will present "Legends" at the Opera House on Saturday, April 13. A member of the Muscogee tribe, Hill provides storytelling, music, and comedy through his programs in schools and communities across the country. Hill has the distinction of being the first Native American to perform at the new National Museum of the American Indian, a component of the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. He has been a featured artist for Walt Disney World and numerous national storytelling conferences and festivals around the country. Each folklore performance helps to keep alive the stories of his people.

Taught by his elders the ancestry, language, history and traditions of his people, Hill is a storyteller by destiny, not choice, and this performance includes stories translated by Hill from the original Muscogean and adapted for the stage.

Tickets: $10 in advance/$15 day of show
