Amy Balmanno

Amy Balmanno is a great-great granddaughter of Anna and John Pavelka. When she first read My Ántonia as a teenager, Cather's novel helped her envision her great-great grandmother through Cather's depiction of Anna Sadilek. Amy works in education with a focus on equitable access for all learners.
