Nick Powers

Nick Powers joined the team in January 2022 in the new position of Visitor Services Coordinator. In this role, Nick interacts with visitors and operates the bookstore, providing information on upcoming events, tours, and different aspects of our organization. "I want to make sure everyone who visits has a pleasurable experience," he said.

Nick, who is from Omaha, graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2019 with degrees in History and Secondary Education, and he brings a passion for history and a desire to forge a related career. In 2021, he completed a summer internship with the Aspen Historical Society, where he gave tours of an old mining ghost town in Colorado. In his spare time, Nick enjoys reading and watching basketball.
