Join Board of Governors hosts Ruth Haley Keene and Glenda Pierce for a day in Red Cloud, home of Pulitzer Prize-winning author Willa Cather! On this one-day bus trip, you will experience the “Divide” as described in O Pioneers!, tour the recently restored Willa Cather Childhood Home, and visit other settings from her acclaimed novel My Ántonia. $125 per person includes motor coach fare, lunch, guided tours, and refreshments. A commuter price of $75 per person is available for those who wish to travel to Red Cloud independently of the motor coach.

11:30 AM Arrive at the National Willa Cather Center, watch introductory film, and view the permanent exhibit, American Bittersweet: The Life & Writing of Willa Cather

12:00 PM Lunch in the Red Cloud Opera House

12:50 PM Depart for Tours of Cather historic sites
