Currently On View In The Opera House
On view now in the historic Red Cloud Opera House are works by three artists who have all used unique mediums to capture the essence and beauty of the Great Plains. All of the exhibits are free and open to the public, and can be viewed Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or Sundays from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. We invite you to take in the incredible artwork created by artists whose love for the plains, prairies, and the land shows up brilliantly in their pieces.

Showing at The Lark
Heralded as Willa Cather's first great novel, O Pioneers! is coming off of a banner year in 2013. Not only was the book named as the "One Book One Nebraska" selection, but the novel also celebrated its 100th publication anniversary.
On Display in the Gallery
Currently on view in the Red Cloud Opera House Gallery is an exhibition by Lincoln artist, Gary Pummel.
Mr. Pummel utilizes a painting technique where both the oil paints and the canvas are kept warm, creating vibrant colors that have a remarkable level of transparency to them. Pummel's artwork has been featured in several galleries throughout the country, and we are thrilled to have him displaying his work in Red Cloud.
