ROCK Legends

Billy McGuigan and his band are returning to the Red Cloud Opera House. The group that last brought us Yesterday & Today: The Interactive Beatles Experience at a sold out 2015 show will return on Saturday, January 30, at 7:00 pm, with ROCK Legends. Part rock concert…part rock tribute…all rock n’ roll, ROCK Legends combines all of these elements to create a show that is the only one of its kind.


Cather Book Club: Youth and Bright Medusa

On January 21 the Willa Cather Book Club will meet to discuss a selection of short stories from Youth and Bright Medusa. The selections include: "Coming Aphrodite," "A Diamond Mine," and "Nanette: an Aside." There are two meeting times available; 4:00 p.m. at Cherry Corner Estates and 6:00 at the Auld Public Library.

The Innocence

Popular band, The Innocence, will make their first appearance at the Red Cloud Opera House on Saturday, December 12 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for this highly-anticipated show are $20 in advance and $25 day of show.


Artists' Reception for Hastings Area Artists

The public is invited to meet Cody Carson-Brown, Jeremy Daniels, Turner McGehee, Jane Marie, Amy Sandeen, Marcella Maley, and Tom Kreager and preview their exhibit at an artist’s reception on Saturday, December 12, from 5:30-7:00 p.m. The reception, which is free and open to the public, will be held at the Red Cloud Opera House prior to a concert by The Innocence. Tickets to The Innocence concert can be purchased here


Curious George III Movie

Curious George is back with another heart-warming adventure with the man in the yellow hat. The Willa Cather Foundation will be showing this movie December 5, at 11:00 a.m. We will be offering pizza and refreshments to all of the attendees. This event is free. Bring your bean bags and your blankets and join the fun.


Whiskey Bent

Known for their high-energy show, tight instrumentals, and Tim Zach’s strong vocals, Whiskey Bent is a five-man country rock band based in central Nebraska. Whiskey Bent writes and performs its own music and covers a variety of top artists including Eric Church, Brantley Gilbert, Dierks Bentley, Jake Owen, Johnny Cash, and more. In 2010, Whiskey Bent played at Nebraska’s popular Comstock Windmill Festival alongside national acts Clay Walker, Rodney Atkins, Trent Tomlinson, and Emerson Drive.
